Ford really likes to troll Honda, so what will Ford do when Honda releases the new Ridgeline? New Ranger confirmed?

God I fucking hope so, but sadly, I don't think they will.
Honestly, I think this will hinge on the success of the Colorado/Canyon. They are about the same size as the Ranger and also have the potential of eating full size truck sales, so I think they could be a solid market test.
I think if Ford had replaced the outdated Ranger 10 years ago with the redesigned models that the rest of the world got, they would have kept their reign as the small pickup kings.

They just like stealing Honda's thunder so much, it seems almost likely lol.

I FINALLY saw a Colorado on the road in my area. It was snowy so I couldn't snipe the trim (it was white and dealers in my area saved that for the 4cyl MT trim, but it looked like higher trim wheels).
But that makes 1 on the road for me so far. I hope Chevy succeeds so I can shop for a "small"-ish truck from Ford.

I would seriously buy a new one. I'm in the market but don't need or want to pay for a full size and don't like the Colorado or Taco. This thing would decimate the sales for the Colorado save for the diehards. The Tacoma will live forever regardless.
Also, I think Ford has always likes shitting on parades. In the last 6 months they stole Acuras Thunder about the NSX with the surprise GT release and somehow the Focus RS got more attention and excitement than Ferrari's 488. A few years back I remember them releasing the power figures for the Mustang GT 500 hours after Chevy announced/debuted the ZL1, the Ford of course being more powerful. And then there's the whole history of the Ford GT and Ferrari. They need to change their slogan to "Ford-Built for the troll in us all" or something if that nature.

That was literally the smartest thing I've seen on the FP in weeks.
I've personally experienced the new Rangers in the Philippines and the are nothing short of amazing.
I'll take mine in XL RWD with the manual 2.2L 4cyl diesel.

As you can tell, I was impressed by the logic.
